The Petz 5 doors were in major need of an overhaul. I've taken the original door sprites and experimented with some image processing techniques to remaster the original pixelated door into shiny metallic doors. With Photoshop actions, I streamlined and automated the recoloring process, allowing me to create the many variations you see here.

Rules + Notes
- Doors only work for
Petz 5 due to palette limitations. Please do not convert to other versions. (They will look terrible - believe me I tried)
- Do not modify, recolor, redistribute, claim as your own, resell, etc.
- Feel free to create carrying case skins for these doors. I kindly ask that if you publish your skins, you do not rehost my door sprite files by bundling them (e.g., in a .zip) with your work. Instead, please credit and link separately to my website for the door download. This ensures attribution and helps others discover my content. Thank you!
Installation Instructions
Originally, I planned to provide pre-installed Petz 5 Rez.dll files for each door, but at 50MB each for 125+ doors, this would exceed my hosting service’s storage limit. Therefore, I can only provide the animation sprites, and you'll need to manually install them yourself. I apologize - I know this is cumbersome and tedious!
If you're downloading multiple doors and want to swap between them easily, I recommend organizing them in folders with the images and corresponding pre-made Petz 5 Rez.dll files for quick swapping. Be aware that many doors will eat up space quickly!
- Make a back up of your original Petz 5 Rez.dll file located in your Resource folder.
- Download the desired door zip file and extract the 74 sprite images.
- Open the Petz 5 Rez.dll in Tinker. When prompted, open the CASEDOOR section and click edit.
- Open up the individual sections and click on the frames to import the corresponding image(s). You can hold the shift button to select and import multiple frames (within a section) at once.
